Was this entrapment? Some ask, “Why didn’t God tell Adam and Eve not to eat the snake?” Who doesn’t love a beautiful garden? They were God’s idea, you know. In Genesis 2 we read, “The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed” (v 8). […]

Ah, Saturday! But God didn’t need to take a break from work—what’s it’s REAL reason? Genesis 2 begins this way: “Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from […]

The Bible says we’re “wonderfully made”; even with science, we still are agape with wonder. In speaking of His crowning creations, man and woman, God said, “‘Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing […]
The only way God can be true love, not self love, is if somehow He is a complex unity. Do you like hearing stories about the early days of your parents, or even earlier ancestors? If you do, this is it! Of your very first parents, the Bible says, “Then God said, ‘Let Us make […]

When God speaks, things happen: galaxies appear, life explodes, and we ought to listen. Many seem apologetic about the first few chapters of our Bible, as if one is anti-scientific to believe them. Nothing is further from the truth. Listen carefully to Genesis 1, verses 3-5: “Then God said, ‘Let there be light’; and there […]
What other book but the Bible dares to tell us exactly what happened in the beginning? Ka-boom! The Bible begins with a verbal explosion: “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Gen 1:1). Note, this verse is important for what it doesn’t say. No effort is made to argue for God’s existence. […]
