The INCALCULABLE CHRIST: The gift of Christ to us is indescribable—anekdiegetos, “not able to describe or declare fully” (2 Cor 9:15) and the joy we have as a result of believing is unutterable—aneklaletos, “beyond one’s ability to divulge” (1 Pet 1:8). His ways in our lives are unsearchable—anexereunetos, with still more to know after being searched diligently, thoroughly investigated (Rom 11:33). And the residing peace and sense of well-being we have should be valued far above all understanding—huperecho nous, “to be held above anything we might know” (Php 4:7). Likewise we have experienced His love that surpasses knowledge—huperballo gnosis, “to transcend, exceed, or excel” (Eph 3:19). And what shall we say of His exceeding power (Eph 1:19), of His exceeding grace (2 Cor 9:14), His exceeding great and precious promises (2 Pet 1:4), and the exceeding and eternal weight of glory that awaits us (2 Cor 4:17)? Everything from Him overflows!
