“Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going” (Eccl 9:10).

I’m wearied not by what I do but what I leave undone. Hard to improve on the old Saxon saying: “DOE THE NEXTE THYNGE.” It’s not far-off dreams but what is at hand that needs doing now.
