“For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows” (1 Tim 6:10).
Those who want money but don’t have it are caretakers of dream castles; those who have it and live for it are janitors of their possessions. Learning to be content is the key to “great gain” (v 8).
