CHRIST REVEALED: “It pleased God…to reveal His Son in me” (Gal 1:15-16). Andrew Murray writes, “In all our study and worship of Christ, we find our thoughts gathering round five points: the incarnate Christ, the crucified Christ, the enthroned Christ, the indwelling Christ, and Christ coming in glory. If the first is the seed, the second is the seed cast into the ground to die, and the third the seed growing up to heaven itself. Then follows the fruit through the Holy Spirit—Christ dwelling in the heart; and then the gathering of the fruit into the garner when Christ appears.” Now it is one thing for God to reveal His Son TO us so we may come to know Him by faith. But this speaks of God’s desire to reveal His Son IN us and through us to others! I think of a friend who moved alone to a village where there was no Christian influence. But he lived in such a way that he became known to all in that village as “Brother Jesus.” “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col 1:20).
