“And Elisha prayed, and said, ‘Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.’ Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire…” (2 Ki 6:17).
I’ve been told that angels appear in about 100 Bible stories. I remember vividly when five men gave their lives in Ecuador on January 8, 1956, but the following story I just heard. Olive (Fleming) Liefeld writes: “The Waorani men involved in the killing, along with others who witnessed it, were deeply affected…[when] the killers heard singing—not from the beach, where the missionaries’ bodies now lay, but from above the trees on the riverbank. Looking up they saw an array of bright lights.…Later, as Christians they began to understand their experience of the supernatural that day.”
The fact that you haven’t seen an angel lately doesn’t mean they’re not still around. They’re here for you! “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit salvation?” (Heb 1:14).
