CHRIST the ULTIMATE REALITY: “If anyone…does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing…” (1 Tim 6:3-4). When men reject Christ, they know nothing. Our universities are filled with professors that the world considers wise. But what is it they believe? They believe that, without God, everything came from nothing. They believe that, without God, order arose from chaos. They believe that, without God, life sprang from non-life. They believe that, without God, minds developed from mindless matter. They believe that, without God, information arranged itself from confusion. They believe that, without God, personality emerged from impersonal force. And they believe that, without God, human emotions, human esthetic sense, and human rationality evolved from mere animal life. Rejecting Christ’s wholesome words leads at the same time to pride and madness.
