CHRIST our ONLY SAVIOR: “I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no savior” (Isa 43:11). “And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent the Son to be Savior of the world” (1 Jn 4:14). “…There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). Consider Christ, not as a redeemer, but as THE Redeemer. There is no other. All the types and symbols of the Savior teach you this. There was one ark in the flood—only one; and all perished except those who sailed in it. There was one altar in the temple—only one; and no sacrifice was accepted but those that were offered there. There was one way through the waters of the Red Sea—only one; and only where the water, held back by the hand of God, stood up in crystal walls, was a passage opened for those who were ready to perish. Even so, there is “…one mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus” (1 Tim 2:5). Only one. —Author Unknown
