I know it should be obvious, but it doesn’t always register as it should: Paul writes to the Romans, “And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed” (Rom 13:11). Sometimes in the busyness of life we forget to look at our biblical watches and forget what time it really is. The clock is ticking, and every day brings us closer to the Big Event.
